Perfect Match

I’ve always though it cheesy for couples to wear matching outfits and sit on the same side at restaurants. But now that my husband and I have been together over 10 years... I’m changing my mind on the matter. We celebrate our 10th anniversary today and are wearing matching white polos on purpose.

Somethings are worth keeping, like this pink and black bustier inspired top that my friend, Anidra is wearing. She loves it and has held onto it for several years. And I can see why—it is fun, flirty and feminine.

April Showers

With all this rain, we should have lots of May flowers next month. I water my plants at least twice a week during the Spring and Summer months. 

OUTFIT Casual weekend hanging around the house and running errands. There is nothing like your favorite t-shirt and jeans. Mint green has become my new “IT” color this year. Sneakers and I’m ready for the weekend.

Savvy Shopper

My friend Ceila is stylish and savvy. She makes me laugh with her quick wit and sassy personality. Today at church, she wore this green paisley print dress that looked great on her. She got the entire look second hand, which is even more impressive!

OUTFIT The solid green shawl brings this outfit together and is great for cool Spring mornings. The earrings and necklace are perfectly matched in color and style. Black strappy wedges are chic and finish the look. She is beautiful inside and out.

As the temps rise, so do hem lines. I’m braking out the shorts and looking forward to Summertime. You’ll be seeing me in my favorite pair of wedges all Spring and Summer long.

Brights

Bright colors are still hot this year. Focus your color pallete around a key piece, like this plaid bag. I pulled out the orange and yellow from the stripes.

OUTFIT I love this orange dress, it is so comfortable and a great length for work. The bright yellow cardigan works well with the bag helping to pull it all together.

Running Gear

Run. Rest. Repeat. Rhythm of a runner. Gotta have some sweet gear to keep you motivated and feeling good. Just wearing this makes me want to go for a run. Add a light jacket for a morning run.

OUTFIT The blue graphic print top goes with the blue track pants. There is a hidden pocket in the pants for keys or and iPod for your run. The top is a little longer, so I feel covered and comfortable.

Weekend Get-A-Way

Every woman needs a weekend get-a-way with her girlfriends. That’s just what me and my friend, Kim did along with the rest of her bridal party. Time to relax and enjoy yourself helps you appreciate your life even more. And no girls weekend is complete without a shopping trip!

OUTFIT Navy jeans and a sweater with a bright pink blouse is chic and effortless. Kim picked up these bedazzled Vera Wang flats before heading out of town. Comfortable and Cute.
