Mauve-lous

This is a great “go-to” look for church or the office. It’s fast and I know it works. Simply “MAUVE-LOUS” darling!

OUTFIT The fall colors in this dress are great - Mauve, Navy and Grey. The necklace reflects the color palette. Throw on a navy cardigan and grey pumps and you are all set.

Hey Y’all

Hey Y’all! That’s the correct way to greet people in the South. It’s that Southern hospitality and charm that sets us apart. 

OUTFIT Mixing a silk top and leggings with cowboy boots creates a look that is polished, but not too stuffy. You don’t have to wear denim every time you wear these boots. Dress them up and try something new. Have some fun.

Jeggings

It’s Jeans, It’s Leggings— It’s Jeggings. You either love ’em or hate ’em. I love them! Especially in this fun green color.

OUTFIT This navy & green necklace is my inspiration. I just pulled out the colors in the necklace to create this color block outfit. Add silver wedges and purse to complete the look.

Accessories

Sandra is the queen of accessorizing. Every Sunday morning she looks radiant singing in the praise band at church. I’m always taking mental notes on how she pulls together her outfits with a cool belt, scarf, jewlery and shoes. However her best accessory is her smile!

OUTFIT Layering jewelry is a happening trend and nobody does it better than Sandra. Her necklaces vary in length from a large long cross to a short small one. On her wrist are strand of pearls and silver charms—with an elephant bracelet that is super chic. A ring on almost every finger and cross earrings that all match. “More is More” in this case.

Summer Stripes

One of the biggest trends this Summer has been stripes. They are showing up everywhere from fashion to home decor. I love the classic black & white stripes - very French.

OUTFIT This shirt grabbed my attention with the bold blue color at the top and the classic stripes below. It combines two trends—Stripes + Color Blocking. It looks great paired with black shorts and flip flops.

Mad about Menswear

I work with some of the most fashionable people around, like Miles. He always looks so sharp with his Armani glasses and signature bow tie. You can take a cue from him on the right way to mix patterns. 

OUTFIT A slim fit striped button down looks edgy paired with plaid pants. He added a pop of color with a purple bow tie that complements his shirt. Tie it all together with a chocolate leather belt and boots. What you can’t see in the photo is his purple argyle socks - even more pattern mixing.

Urban Cowgirl

“You can take the Girl out of the Country, but you can’t take the Country out of the Girl.” I grew up in the Country and we had Black Angus Cattle. I was a true cowgirl, now I’m a Urban Cowgirl. 

OUTFIT This outfit is all about how you accessorize it. A tan t-shirt + white jeans could go either way - City or Country. I choose Country today by adding a blue jean jacket, scarf and boots. I’m also wearing feather earrings that blend into my hair.

Brightly Colored

Color blocking is still a happening trend and so easy to do. Just mix two contrasting colors. Cyan and red play off each other well for a bright bold look. 

OUTFIT Matching your necklace to your jeans is an easy way to pull your outfit together. Leopard print flats are fun and a great pattern to wear with solids.

Country Chic

Transition into Fall with a pair of cowgirl boots. Pair them with a romantic style dress or skirt for a country chic feel.

OUTFIT This ruffle skirt is fun and flirty. The denim camp shirt and boots are a nice contrast to the girly skirt. Mix up your western wear with splashes of feminine flair. Add a belt and some chandelier earrings if you got ’em.

It’s Black & White

Try mixing black & white in two different patterns. Like this bold striped sweater with a gingham button down underneath. The gingham peeks in at the collar and hem line—very cool. 

OUTFIT Set of all this black & white off with the hottest color right now... coral. Add simple black flats are you are ready for anything... including a “Pump It Up” party. I’ll be in the bouncy house if you need me.

Red Alert

I’m sure I’m not the only one who simply can’t wait for FALL. Why are these last days of Summer the hottest? With Fall just around the corner - Leopard Print will still be going strong in my wardrobe. 

OUTFIT To play down an overall leopard print t-shirt just add a black cardigan. Layering is great for this time of year. Red Corduroy Jeans and black pumps look Prima Marvelous.

I Love Lucy!

Laughter is the best medicine. Who doesn't love to laugh? And being able to laugh at yourself is essential. Watching I Love Lucy, AFV, or any Comedy  is a great stress reliever.  I hope you laugh today — maybe you are laughing right now and my silly pose. So Chic! LOL!

OUTFIT Polka dots are fun to wear. This dress has a great ruffle at the neckline that I like to accent with a bright yellow cardigan. Adding a belt at the waist gives it shape. Black Pumps + Purse = ready to go!
