Southern Peach

It’s hot today with a heat index over 100°! We Southerns know how to stay cool and “Southern women don’t sweat, they glisten.” I'm going to stay cool in this peach skirt set.

OUTFIT This skirt set has an eyelet skirt and ribbon detailing on the skirt and top which makes it very feminine and pretty. I couldn’t pass on this peach color either. It’s soft and pretty - like a peach.

Shopping Saturday

So it’s no surprise that I enjoy shopping. I love seeing what’s new in the store, planning my purchases and finding great deals... like at the Coach Outlet - 50% OFF everything in the store! Even some of the clearance items - like these new sunnies.

Pink & Blue

These two colors go so well together making a pretty color combo. Could that be the reason we choose PINK for a girl and BLUE for a boy? Opposites Attract.

OUTFIT This PINK gingham button up has a blue pony making it a perfect match with these BLUE blue jeans. I cuffed my jeans and added ballet flats, which are great for the Summer months in the office.

Black, White & Chic All Over

When it comes to making a statement: no one does it better than Kim Carter. This Michael Kors tote says - “Look @ Me! It’s Bright & Big! Kim’s favorite POP of color - pink of course. 

OUTFIT To really let this purse stand out, Kim kept her outfit simple with a grey maxi dress and snake skin sandals. A long black necklace finishes the look. Perfect for a full day of shopping.

Watercolor

Soft pastels make beautiful watercolor paintings. This skirt/top combo makes me feel like a walking watercolor. Wear what you love and makes you happy. 

OUTFIT The artistry and flow of the fabric is so light and cool. I enjoy wearing it during the Summer months. I adore these heels - they are my wedding shoes and I continue to wear them every Spring/Summer. The detail cutouts are fabulous—they remind me of butterflies.

Nautical By Nature

Pinterest is overflowing with fashion inspiration. I pinned this nautical outfit months ago on Pinterest, and loved it! I’ve recreated it with pieces from my own closet. Just as stylish and chic as the original.

OUTFIT Bright pink jeans and a blue striped top. My top is the reverse of the inspiration photo and works just as well. I traded neutral colored heels for my neutral colored wedges. I love it on her & I love it on me!

Flower Child

Bright & Beautiful! Keep the color going this Summer. I picked these flowers from my garden and placed in a tiny vase for my kitchen window.

OUTFIT This bright blue chevron scarf pairs great with a yellow t-shirt. White jeans are a Summer staple with some nude wedges. Mint green nail polish is a hot trend, if you haven’t given it a try yet - you should.

Summer gardens are in full bloom right now. Take some of the garden with you with this floral top.

Orange Crush

The Brighter the Better! I heart ORANGE and pairing it with mint blue really makes it POP!

OUTFIT The silk top is really unique—the back wraps making it open and it has “I dream of Jeannie” sleeves. A white shell is a must underneath. Adding mint blue jeans and a matching necklace completes this fresh squeezed look.

Teenybopper

Teenybopper is a young teenage girl who follows adolescent trends in music, fashion and culture. I'm not a young teenage girl, but I could pass for one in this outfit. Maybe you could call me a Ladybopper.

OUTFIT I got this when I was a teenybopper from my friends clothing store. I never wore it, but kept it because it was too cute and she assured me that it was styling. Do these pass as club clothes? Maybe something to wear to the beach?
