I was strolling the outlet mall, doing a little Christmas shopping, when I saw this bag from outside the store. It caught my eye, so I had to check it out. I love the gold zipper details and the suede insets. It goes perfect with the black suede booties I had just bought. An early Christmas present for myself!

OUTFIT This bag has the moto look, that I love. It looks great with the moto jacket I got recently and booties. Red jeans and leopard print finish this cool look.

Little Black Dress

Hippie Hippie Shake

Boho is such a fun look to wear. This top is totally hippie chic. You can go all out with some bell bottoms, if you want. I love it!

OUTFIT This top screams boho. Add a pair of jeans, sandals, a long wooden necklace and hoop earrings and you are ready for anything.

Safari

On a recent trip to Disney, I visited the Animal Kingdom. It was my favorite park and the safari ride was amazing. It was a day filled adventure and I was dressed for it.

OUTFIT Walking shorts and comfortable sandals were key for today. I got soaked on the rapids, so no socks and tennis shoes to worry with there. The jacket was great to have tied around my waist during the day and have it on at night for the shows. Mickey ears with leopard spots was my souvenir for the day. PERFECT!

Field Jacket

Canvas Field Jackets—a trending classic for Fall. I looked at several styles and picked this one from Old Navy. I liked the olive green color and shorter length on this one. It comes in petite and has a drawstring, SOLD.

OUTFIT You can pair a field jacket with just about anything. Just a simple t-shirt and jeans today. But you can also wear it with a dress with boots. My necklace is a St. Christopher pendant from my Grandmother.

September Style

September is still warm, but Fall is on the way. Some great transition pieces, like jeans & jewelry will get you through in style.

OUTFIT Dark wash jeans can be dressed up or down. This pair looks cool and casual with a pink pattern top and a contrasting turquoise necklace. I complete the look with wedge sandals, cause it’s still warm.

The Oxford

I enjoy a good Southern Classic, like a tomato sandwich - featured on the current issue of Garden & Gun. I also enjoy a good classic button-down, like a polo oxford. It’s smart and polished without being to stuffy. 

OUTFIT This green oxford works with my complexion. It matches my green eyes and brings out the red tint in my hair. You can pair it with just about anything. For a Summer Saturday, khaki shorts and tennis shoes.

Breakfast with Giraffes

Giraffes are tall, graceful, and they know how to work a pattern. So when I spotted this scarf checking out at Banana Republic, I had to have it. I’m gearing up for Fall and this is a great transition piece to have.

OUTFIT I played off the neutral tones from the scarf with cream jeans and a gray shirt/sweater. My tall OTBT wedges have me feeling like I belong with these beautiful creatures.

Mix It Up

Don’t be afraid to mix patterns, the key is to stay in the same color family. This floral pattern has black and blue in it that matches the striped top.

OUTFIT I’m doing the front tuck or half tuck. To do this, style your shirt by only tucking in the front part for a semi-messy look. Try it out, see if works for you. Add black wedges and a clutch and your ready to rock your semi-messy mixed up style.
