Color Block Maxi Dress

I love to wear dresses... especially maxi dresses! They are so comfortable and light, perfect for warmer days.

Ready to Run

I enjoy running, it’s a great way to stay fit and relieve stress. Plug in my headphone and watch me go. I do 5K three times a week. Plus a gym workout at least once a week. Why not look cute when working out :)

OUTFIT Go bright with some neon. It’s the biggest trend straight from the 80s. Go all out, from head to toe with some bright sneakers too. Nike running shorts are my favorite because they have a back pocket the prefect size to hold my iPhone.

Summer Picnic

Grab your picnic basket, fill it up with goodies and head out to the park for a Summertime picnic.

OUTFIT These are just basic wardrobe pieces. Pencil skirt, button down, and a cardigan. They can look great or they can look a mess - it all depends on how you style them. I cuffed the sleeves and left the bottom buttons open on the cardigan, so you can see the button down underneath. I added pearls, leopard kitty heels and some serious shades.

The Real Deal

This necklace is the *Real Deal*. It is my mother-in-laws, mother-in-law. Did you get that? It is from the 1950s, owned by a woman who had a real flare for fashion. 

OUTFIT This striped silk top has every color of the rainbow and could be paired with any color. The bright blue jeans work great with it. And the necklace is stunning!

Electric Blue Trench

Electric blue is a great color to incorporate into your wardrobe. It’s a pop of color, without going too crazy. 

OUTFIT This blue trench looks great over this navy nautical dress. The scarf has the same electric blue color and a floral pattern, which contrast the stripes of the dress nicely. Nude heels and a brown bag complete this electric look.

Red, White and HUE

This top has tiny red, white, and blue stripes: which when mixed together—make it look purple. The tuxedo ruffles at the top are fun and give it a different twist too.

Coral Vacation

Even though I’m not going on vacation or hitting the beach right now — at least I can dress like it. Get into the summer spirit with some vacation worthy apparel. 

OUTFIT Coral is huge right now and this wrap blouse has resort vacation written all over it. Pair it with crisp white jeans and wedges, then wear it to the office. Add some sand dollar or shell jewelry too to give it that extra touch.

Summer Rain

I love the smell of a freshly mowed lawn after a summer rain. It is earthy and lovely as the humidity rises to wreak your hair! 

OUTFIT This down to earth look is so easy to pull off. It’s just a long maxi skirt and a basic white t-shirt. I added a brown belt and leopard scarf that plays up the natural patterns found in nature. Try a pair of flat sandals or flip flops and skip the jewelry.

Go Sleeveless

I absolutely loved this coral sleeveless top when I bought it years ago. When I do my bi-yearly edit of my closet, it always makes the cut. It has stood the test of time. If you hesitate to “GO SLEEVELESS” I want to encourage you to try it. Even though my arms are not super toned and I have the flap that waves back to you, it doesn’t stop me from wearing a sleeveless top that I love. Trust me, nobody else is worried about your arm flab — cause they got it too.

OUTFIT This necklace picks up the same shapes and colors as the top, they work perfectly together. These taupe slack keep this outfit dressy for work. The shoes and pearl bracelets complement it nicely.

Perfectly Polka

My sister-in-law, Amanda, has a real eye for fashion. She loves lace, bold patterns and fun colors. For the most impact, pick colors across from each other on the color wheel. Orange + Blue just happens to be our favorite complementary colors. WAR EAGLE!

OUTFIT This classic navy polka dot dress looks great on her. It has a cap sleeve, elastic waist, and a hem line just above the knee. The polka dots are big & bold, just like the necklace. The perfect polka pairing.
